Jumps In...

I actually have to say that I liked the original a little bit better in the fact that the intro really gives you sense of whats in the song. In this one, though it starts right up to get you dancing, it leaves you a little confused as to how the song works per say.

Still great though!

Ya, I would've left it if there weren't time constraints on the song submissions for the contest.

Thanks!

Substance

I'll give you the bad stuff first... The only problem is its overall a little "dry" so to speak. The turn over is pretty quite which keeps it interesting. The only things are the instrumentation, but thats pretty minor. Good job saving the best for last. Above average FX, used very wisely thought the song... oh, oops sorry, "Mix". I sort of can relate to this but only a little because while this is still (technically) a MIX per say. It usually entails taking songs and overlaying them, not making them all in one fell swoop. But it don't matter because you probably don't have the equipment to do that. Okey, I'm rambling now its time for me to stop talking.

Keep at it,

Great Flow

Very nice transitioning, it fits together very well. (I know this is unavoidable but I'll say it anyway) The only thing is it sounds a little "robotic." Which is an empty comment because it was made via computer, which is the only way 99.99% of us can do, so that will never change. Very epic. I wish I could find something wrong with to actually be able to talk about your song and help you out, but I can't ^_^

All in all great stuff!

Box-Killa responds:

yeah I changed the velocity around for each note so it should be a little better

Overall Potential

Hmm...

Decided to see what you meant in the Forum in the "Free Online Radio Space." (My post was right below yours btw). This review is focused on all music to.

To describe you I would have to say that your exactly what you say you are, a beginner. Most beginners have wonderful ideas, but the execution of those ideas is dry, for obvious reasons [mostly inexperiance]. After that, they go into a slump, where their technique and style is perfect, but their is ideas lack (thats where I am now).

Anyway, back to you... For you to develop I would have to say that you work on these things:

1.) Divide and Conquer; Separate your idea, make sure elemts of your songs fit together. If you have a bad ass drum beat (1:54) it should have a bad ass tune (which it does so don't change it).
Avoid things like (1:10) where you have a cool beat but a happy/upbeat tunes, they just don't go together.
2.) Following the Crowd; This is mainly pointed at the vocals. Due to the thousands of fruity loops users on NG and everywhere else, they all can easily spot someone using a sample from it, which they hate (not me, them - I use MadTracker ^_^). Try finding some other samples that say the same or sound the same (drums, synths, fx, ect.) thing that you want them to, all you have to do is look.

Thats all I have time for, for now. I'll try to review again soon.

Keep pumpin out those ideas,

Thanks lol I had some trouble so I couldn't keep "making" new music, thank you very much for taking the time of reviewing and for those tips ;) they will be incredibly helpful

Short, Sweet, and To The Point ^_^

I like this a lot, very David Guetta-ish (if you know who that is). Anyway, the most thought out things in life are the simplest, you must have thought this out immensely then =).

Keep it real,

Mix style Tech House!!! XD

This is very Victor Dinaire-sih if you know who that is. But is more House than anything else. The definition of good House something you can dance to, which I could totally get down with this at club or in one of mixes. Anyway loved it, and little do people know that it is one of the hardest things to make Tech House on purpose.

Great Job!!

He he, thanks for the review. I'm glad you like it. We have a common ground in the fact that no one likes our stuff... well kinda. E7

Get Up and Move!!

I love this kind of dance, very well put together. The automation was spot on and the build ups were perfectly set. Great re-mastering! 10x better than the original!!

Whats the matter with these people?

Jump-Mix Style!! I personally love this type of House and can never make it myself (of course). The beginning was really good and pulled me right into the song. The song its self was perfectly arranged in every way. The ending however was a little like "where did it go?" I can understande that you wanted to cut it off right there and that is perfectly ok, n=but I would just suggest adding just a little 1 bar (or less) of bass jump notes (just like in the rest of the song) to end it right after the fade out. The drums also were kinda empty in the sense that "maybe" there should have been 1 or 2 more, but it didn't bother me to much.

Still can't get enough though! Amazing song!!!

Stupidisco! (not really)

Personally, I like it (but thats mostly because I'm a house-head). It has very good drive and rhythm. I would just suggest that the beat at the very beginning, should be used more in the rest of the song if you know what I mean.

Not Bad!

Thanks, really. finally someone leaving me a review. Umm, well I think to myself on this track as unfinished. I want to add a break after the delayed beat vocal with the intro drums. and change up the melody. I sometimes get lazy and don't attend to my tracks as I should. Thanks for the review.

Hey, Hi, and Hello for all those visiting from Turntable.fm, my name here is indeed different but I am in fact Redwire if there is any doubt in my identity.
